As part of the design for the new world, we are going to be re-hashing all the titles for both races and classes. This may not seem very exciting at first, but here's the cool part: We want YOU, dear readers, to participate! Post, in the comments for this announcement, suggestions you have for race titles!

Due to their skin tone, they are quite easy to spot. Though they are not fully orc, they are treated with ill respect and distrust, making them very bad tempered and easily provoked. They are somewhat leaner than the nomads that are occasionally found roaming the lands, and are very eager to improve their knowledge of the lands and its denizens. These folk tend to be better versed in reading, writing and arithmetic, and have a sound understanding of science and combat. Targeshian wrote: The Targeshian are kin to the ancient Kargashian Dwarf. They migrated to the mountains of Targesh on the western borders of Ezantoh, closer to the Elven Isles and the trade empire of Nubal. They are famous for their skill with anvil and forge, and almost always have some sort of emergency miniature anvil tucked away in their large packs to keep the weapons of their companions dangerously sharp. The Targeshian choose to live on the land rather than under it, but they still seek out prized gems with which they can affix to their metal masterpieces. Tirem Ag wrote: The Tirem Ag are a mystical race of elf from the Isles to the west of Ezantoh. They see themselves as a part of something greater that many races fail to comprehend, and have a deep respect and understanding of mystical powers that flow around and through the lands. They are highly sought after for their abilities to harness the power of elvenstones, which seem to have originated from the heart of the Tirem Ag Island itself. These stones can be used to empower the adventuring companions during their journies.

As you may or May not have Noticed The Festival of Lanterns appointment dungeon is back - If you have noticed and ran it you may have received a named Haiku (The old ones). We actually have plans for new haiku after the festival has finished and Blank Haiku were suppose to drop.

This brings me to the reason for this announcement - I am going to give everyone a choice - you may keep the haiku that you acquired from the runs as I am sure some will - on the other side of the coin I will allow you to trade in for a blank - if you trade for a blank you won't know what you will get and you will not know until after the festival. If you wish to trade a "Newly" acquired haiku please set up a trade with Exxoduss by the end of the day tomorrow 3/8/2012.

Tian Ten, the foreign emissary of the Sha Jin Empire, has arrived once again in Nemea. Last year he listened to our haikus and saw our banners, and we impressed him with our creativity and artistic abilities, but he was most impressed our skills in battle, during our Exotic Warfare exhibition matches in the arena. He has returned and we will get that same chance this year to impress and entertain... So let's get to it![/news]

The swing of a sword or the firing of a bolt is not done so terribly different in the Sha Jin Empire. Tian Ten would like to see our magic, our taunts, and anything else we can do out of the ordinary.

No ranged or melee attack types
No Nets
No Darts
No summoning
Due to the over powering effect a mage can have in cross section attacks there will be no use of Fire Rain, Electrical Storm or Ice Rain.
No limit to the number of teams per player

Double Elimination Tournament

Open to heroes of Caledonii - obviously you have to create your team in the Arena first.

There may or may not be a group stage, depending on the number of participants.

Under elimination, if there's a draw, the side with more team members still standing is deemed the winner.

The next criteria will be the amount of damage dealt. After that, discretion of the organizer.

Sha-Jin Banner Competition

The Sha-Jin legions go into battle with a Banner at the head of the troops. These banners proclaim which warlord is in command and it gives inspiration to the soldiers.

To honour our Sha-Jin festival, your King has requested that you create a banner to be used at the head of the Sha-Jin troops, this season.
From all the entrants, 3 winners will be chosen. They will be rewarded by our Emperor and honoured by our people. The grand winner wil have his design used in all our banners during the festival.
All artisans are charged with presenting their designs for a Sha-Jin themed Banner without delay.



The banner competition will be held from March 1st, until the end of the Sha-Jin New Year festival on April 6th.
During this time, every player can submit their idea for a Sha-Jin banner and get a chance to win the nice rewards.

All serious submissions should be WoD-related, and will be rewarded with a small price for the effort. The design from the 3 best banners will be rewarded with an extra price of which the strength will depend on how many players join in the contest.

              The First Prize for the Banner-competition will be a Free 3-month Premium!



You are free in determining the size of your banner to your own liking.
There are no set limits, but don't exaggerate of course.

All submissions will be checked by 3 Judges (Black Phoenix, Darkblade & Squalor).
Depending on the number of entrants, the player-community can eventually decide the grand winner through a poll.

You are free to use WoD-pictures in the banner, but are not allowed to break the law on copyright from others. Keep the pictures legal and according to the netiquette. By joining in this competition, you agree for WoD to use your design for their own uses.
